Foundation Manager – Sarah Bunting

Sarah has been our Foundation Manager since October 2013, joining initially as a contractor to run the MonSTaR Cup and becoming our first employee in May 2016. Sarah manages all the day to day activities of the Foundation and is your first point of contact for all questions regarding MonSTaR. After taking on the MonSTaR Golfer events in 2018, the role grew to be full time, but unfortunately following COVID-19 and the subsequent cancellation of events, Sarah’s role is now part time, managing our major annual fundraiser – the MonSTaR Cup & Ball around the end of March each year. Sarah is greatly supported by Greg, Mark and Hamish along with Cheryl Golding and Kim Hargreaves and a large pool of volunteers who help manage various aspects of the event and to whom we are extremely grateful.

Sarah has over 20 years Event Management experience across a wide range of sporting events, initially coming to Australia from the UK in 1999 to work on the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to that, Sarah helped manage, promote and develop wheelchair tennis at the International Tennis Federation in London.

Sarah has two children Tana and Kaia and lives on the Northern Beaches.
