Who We Are
The MonSTaR Foundation was born from both the suffering and the passion of three successful business men and their family members affected by MND or another disability. Hamish Pearce, Financial Advisor with Mentor1 Financial Planning; Mark Golding, Managing Director of GoldKey Financial Services and Greg Hargreaves, Principal at Hargreaves Property Group are the founders and the heart of the charity.
From MonSTaR’s conception in 2006, it has raised $3,000,000 all in the name of supporting sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease and its research as well as providing funds to support educational programs for children with disabilities, through the STaR Association.
The name was generated from the two beneficiaries of the Foundation, being MON (Motor Neurone Disease), and The STaR (Special Teaching and Research) Association.
MonSTaR is a registered charity with full Deductible Gift Recipient Status (DGR). All donations made to MonSTaR Foundation are tax deductible.
Together we can make a difference.
