Foundation Patron

PETER OVERTON - MonSTaR Foundation Patron
Peter is the well known and regarded News Anchor for Channel Nine News, Sydney. With over 20 years experience in the media, Peter has risen to be one of Australia's top journalists. He has held positions at 2UE, SKY Channel, Channel 7 Adelaide and most recently spent eight years as a reporter for the Nine Networks 60 Minutes.

As with most of us involved, Peter was touched by Motor Neurone Disease when his sister's best friend, Fiona Pearce was diagnosed in 2005. Peter did not hesitate when he was asked to MC the inaugural MonSTaR Cup and has been a willing participant ever since. There is little doubt that Peter's involvement in this great event has contributed to its success.

We are more than grateful to have Peter as the Patron of The MonSTaR Foundation and thank him for agreeing to take on this role.

Peter is married to Jessica Rowe and they have two young daughters, Allegra & Giselle.
